GARY MARVEL (leader) Trumpet & Flugelhorn
Gary has been performing professionally almost his entire life. His experience encompasses a wide range of musical venues from that of a soloist to traveling show bands from N.Y. City to many club, jazz or dance bands in the USA and Europe. He has lived and performed for 19 years in Europe & the Middle East where his performances are not limited to: International Jazz Festivals, theatres, dance clubs, and his own big band, the Gary Marvel Jazz Orchestra. He has worked with Jiggs Whigham, Darmon Meader Phil Wilson, George West and Johnny Oliva to name a few. He is Retired from the United States Army and a graduate of James Madison University with a MEd in music.
GARY GOETZ: PIANO, KEYBOARDS & VOCALS
Gary is a seasoned performer having worked with the Fifth Dimension, Buddy Rich, Tito Puente, Charro, Peter Noon, Mickey Dolenz, Larry Coryell and Mack McDuff, Glenda Dale, and Tony James to list a few. Gary worked for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines for 15 years and attended the University of Cincinnati.
DAVE BERGER Guitar & Vocals
Dave has performed as a soloist and sideman his entire life working with many groups and in many styles notably including stints with The Staple Singers, Albert King, Otis Clay and Yoko Ono. Performance highlights include appearances on Italian TV, at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and Toronto GospelFest. He also composes and records his own original material. Dave Berger is a graduate of the University of Chicago and a former faculty member of the American Conservatory of Music.
RICHIE IANNUZZI Drums
Richie is a well sought after percussionist and drummer in the SWFL area. Originally from Toronto, Canada where he was the number one on-call percussionist in the music scene, Richie’s reputation followed him to SWFL where he soon established himself again as the top on-call percussionist for many bands. Richie was the sole founder of The Mambo Brothers Blues Band, Cat Daddy & The Juice to name a few. Richie’s versatility enables him to perform any musical genre at the top professional level.
JENNIFER MAZZIOTTI Saxophone
After receiving the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award from Centerville High School in Centerville Ohio, Jennifer received a scholarship to study music at The University of North Texas. She received an additional scholarship to continue musical studies at The University of South Florida. She holds a BM degree from USF in Jazz Studies Performance. Jennifer continues to perform with a wide variety of musical ensembles ranging from jazz, blues and funk to classical orchestras.
Robin Stasko Vocals
“Rockin” Robin Stasko, growing up on the East Coast of Florida, began singing in Children’s Musical Theatre. Her passion for performing in musicals and Broadway style plays led her to Nashville where she became a recording artist working with professional song writers and played throughout Nashville with multiple talented bands. As well as playing professionally, Robin toured and sang with her church worship team. Robin has had the opportunity to work with professional artist including John Denver, Wynonna Judd, Larry Gatlin, and Margo Smith. Most recently, Robin has performed with a Motown Band, a Classic Rock and Pop Band, as well as a Variety Duet Band.
Dr. Christopher Gillette Bass
Dr. Christopher Gillette has been a professional guitarist for over 40 years. His personal style is a unique blend of Jazz, Classical, Rock, and Latin influences. Starting in High School, Christopher was a regular in the jazz clubs of Los Angeles and Orange County California. He has worked as a touring, performing, and recording musician in multiple genres including classical, jazz, rock, surf, country and gospel. Christopher worked for many years in the Contemporary Christian Music industry where he worked with artists like Phil Keaggy, Jon Gibson, Brian Duncan, Steve Archer and others featured on Christian radio. Chris has worked with popular artists and actors over the years including Bret Young, The Surfaris, Toni Tennille, Danny Thomas, Pat Boone and many others as the house band for the SAG gatherings. Christopher holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in music and an earned Doctorate from the Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville Florida. He has served as a full-time professor of Church Music as well as Graduate and Undergraduate guitar. Christopher has lectured, performed, and served in many countries including Ukraine, Cambodia, Haiti, the Republic of Georgia, and Mexico. Christopher has been on the staff of multiple churches and served as a Music Director and Choir Conductor. In the past few years, He has become involved in real estate investing, rehab and management. Christopher has recently relocated to Cape Coral in South West Florida. It is here where he is establishing himself as a local musician and as a real estate investor with Pro Management Realty in Fort Myers.
